A First Website and Online Booking for a Dental Clinic
A clinic that relied on Instagram and word of mouth now has a fast, search-ready website where patients find treatments, prices, and doctors, then book a slot straight into the clinic's WhatsApp queue.
- Duration
- 4 weeks
- Services
- Web DevelopmentAPI Integration
A two-branch dental clinic had no website. Patients found it through Instagram posts and referrals, then asked the same questions about treatments, prices, and opening hours over WhatsApp. People searching on Google for a dentist nearby found competitors first, and staff spent much of the day answering repeat questions instead of handling bookings.
Challenges
- No website, so the clinic was invisible to patients searching on Google.
- Treatment, price, and schedule information lived only in staff replies.
- Booking requests arrived as free-form chat messages that had to be retyped.
- The owner had no budget for a large platform or an in-house developer.
Objectives
- Launch a clear website that explains treatments, doctors, and both branches.
- Be findable for local searches such as "dentist" plus the area name.
- Turn booking requests into a structured form instead of open chat.
- Keep running costs low and let staff update prices and schedules themselves.
We planned the content with the clinic first: treatments, doctors, branch pages, and the questions patients ask most. The site was built mobile first, with structured data for local search and a booking form that sends a complete request to the right branch's WhatsApp. Prices and schedules sit in a simple content file the admin can edit without touching code.
Implementation
- 01Content & structure
Collected the questions staff answer every day and turned them into treatment, doctor, branch, and FAQ pages.
- 02Design & build
Designed a calm, mobile-first layout and built it as a fast static site with clear booking calls to action.
- 03Booking & local SEO
Added a booking form routed to each branch's WhatsApp, plus local business structured data and map listings.
- 04Launch & handover
Connected the domain, analytics, and Search Console, then trained the admin to update prices and schedules.
Architecture overview
- React and TypeScript static site, server-rendered for search engines
- Tailwind CSS design system with mobile-first layouts
- Booking form with validation, routed to branch WhatsApp numbers
- LocalBusiness structured data, sitemap, and Search Console
- Cloudflare hosting with CDN caching and automatic HTTPS
What changed for the business.
- The clinic now appears in search results and maps for local dental searches.
- Patients get treatment, price, and schedule answers before they message.
- Booking requests arrive complete, so staff confirm instead of retyping.
- Hosting costs stay low and the admin updates content independently.
Lessons learned
- The best first content came from the questions staff were already answering.
- A structured booking form beats a chat button when details matter.
- Small businesses need a site they can update, not just a site that launches.
